To explore one of the roads less travelled make a detour down Officer Road (Officer). This climb is one of the more scenic climbs that you can do in Cardinia, and a true joy to climb.
The climb starts shortly after you pass the intersection of Peterson Road
The first 600 metres is steep & the gradients will peak at 9%
Traffic is light, but the road is quite narrow and if a car drives through please stay as far to the left as possible
This is one of those climbs that you can truly appreciate the scenery
All good climbs must have a hairpin
The final 400 metres of this climb is pretty easy. The gradient remains between 1% - 3%, and you can drop it down a few gears through here and get some good speed. There are quite a few corners which can be enjoyable to race through
The climb finishes at the intersection of Officer Road & Leppit Road
